So, based on my hastily posted blog a couple of weeks ago, you might have guessed that Newcastle branch hosted a fest this year. Set out in the wilds of Northumberland we took advantage of our surroundings to run a dwarf inspired plot. We hope that all those who attended enjoyed themselves and enjoyed the story we ran.
I would like to offer my thanks again to all members of the team who wrote missions, wrote froth, organised and did all the admin, built props, put together costumes, crewed, first aided, cooked, cleaned, set up tents, put down tents, and generally made the fest work unseen and hidden from view. You’re all awesome and words can not sum up the feeling of pride I have that we pulled this off.
But you’re not here to read about my love and admiration for the crew, you’re here for a write up of the event. So let me tell you the tale of the dwarven hold of Dun Chevin, of how it fell, and how it was reclaimed.
